We are a provincially recognized EcoMuseum. An EcoMuseum is the entire dynamic that happens in a landscape, including the businesses.
The little brick schoolhouse was built in 1927, one year after the incorporation of the Village of Val Marie.
Our museum features a collection of historical artifacts which chronicle the history of Val Marie and Grasslands National Park.
A collection of articles, resources, podcasts, videos and miscellaneous things to do at home when you can’t be with us in person.
Explore the grounds and brush up on your plant ID skills of indigenous species before going into the Park.
