If you have admired the gorgeous prairie night skies in photographs by Sherri Grant, on view this summer in her exhibition Sky Alive at Prairie Wind & Silver Sage, now you have the opportunity to learn methods of taking photos like these yourself.
On Thursday, September 1, you are invited to join photographer Sherri Grant as she offers Basic Night Sky Photography, a free of charge workshop. Meet at 7:00 PM at the parking lot to the 70 Mile Butte Hike. For equipment, please bring a camera (able to set to manual for long exposure), tripod, remote if you have one, flashlight (headlamp), appropriate clothing and footwear, water. No registration is required – just show up!
